Cash For Appliances Rebate Program

California’s Appliance Rebate Program begins on April 22, 2010.

The appliance rebate program is funded from the larger national program American Recovery and Reinvestment Act, which has set aside some $300 million nationally for states to utilize. The Golden State was allocated $35.2 million which is to be disbursed by the State Energy Efficient Appliance Rebate Program.

The program is a great way to help reduce the amount of energy consumed yearly in the use of these appliances as well as the amount paid by customers on their monthly bills.

Rebates will be given out on a first come, first serve system until funding runs out, or the planned end date on May 23rd.
